How to change "Welcome to the Frontpage" title on your homepage in joomla 1.5 |

When you fresh install joomla 1.5 on your web server,you will see the homepage title is 'Welcome to the Frontpage',Sometimes, it is difficult to find, where you can change this title.With Joomla 1.5 we have the ability to set a page title for each 'page'. The title can be set in the parameters of the menu item (link) for the particular page in question. So, for example, to change the page title or shut it off for the Home page do the following:
{mosgoogle} The steps to find it in 1.5 is as follows. - Log into the back end administration.
- Click on "Menus" and then select "Main Menu ".
- Click on "Home" in the list of menus (assuming you haven't renamed it).
- On the right side of the page you should see some expandable entries with right pointing arrows... and at the bottom you should see "Parameters (System)". Click on this and you should now see "Page Title" which is where the "Welcome to the Frontpage" is stored.
- Change to whatever you want... Job done!
